Phillip Parker MICB CB.DIP
Originally from Gloucestershire, I am now based at Chagford in Devon, where prior to becoming a Bookkeeper I had my own restaurant which I ran as a partnership between 2005 and 2010.
Administration, in particular working with figures, has always been a passion of mine and I developed my love of bookkeeping while working in the accounts departments of several national organisations.
As an accountancy service provider I am licensed and regulated by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) and supervised under the Money Laundering Regulations 2007. I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and fully comply with any data protection legislation. I also have Professional Indemnity Insurance.
I am qualified to the level of Certified Bookkeeper and I am a full member of the ICB having achieved Level III Diplomas in both manual and computerised bookkeeping. I also have a Level III Diploma in Self Assessment Tax.
In addition to offering general bookkeeping services, I am able to complete VAT returns and Self Assessment Tax returns for my clients and liaise with the HMRC on their behalf.
Up to date
To provide the best possible service for my clients I continue my own professional development by attending ICB meetings and keeping myself up to date on all relevant issues. I am also looking forward to offering a payroll service in the foreseeable future.
I am very approachable and friendly and I believe in establishing a very good working relationship with all my clients.
I fully understand many of the issues faced by the small business owner. I know how difficult it can be attempting to keep ahead of all the paperwork while running a business. Engaging my services will take away the pressure of the bookwork and enable you to spend more time developing your business.
I work to suit your requirements and work schedule. I tailor my services to suit your needs and budgets. I can collect or deliver your paperwork as required, including evenings and weekends.
